Arthur R. Sonberg, MD

Dr. Sonberg is an adult neurologist with over 40 years’ experience treating patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. Dr. Sonberg was born on Long Island, New York and attended primary, middle school and high school in Malverne, New York. After receiving his M.D at the State University of New York (Downstate Medical Center), Dr. Sonberg did three years of internal medicine training at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. His first-year neurology training was that the Montréal Neurological Hospital and Institute before finishing his neurology training at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. After completing his residency, Dr. Sonberg worked in private practices in the Williamsburg/Newport News area of Virginia, in Boca Raton Florida and in Morehead City, North Carolina before accepting the position with UPMC. He now practices at the Heritage Valley UPMC Multispecialty Group Inc. in Monaca, Pennsylvania.
