Huntington’s Disease Society of America

The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine has been one of the 43 national HDSA Centers of Excellence (COE) since 2015.  We are a multidisciplinary (“one-stop shopping”) clinic that includes physicians and other experts from Neurology, Psychiatry, Genetic Counseling, Social Work, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Nutrition.

Patients in the tri-state area benefit from these experts, each of whom has extensive experience working with families and patients affected by Huntington’s disease (HD).  The UPMC Center provides comprehensive care for HD patients at any stage of illness. We have access to the latest clinical research and experimental therapeutics for HD.
