Biographical Sketch

Matt is a third-year neurology resident with clinical interests in vascular neurology, dementia spectrum disorders, and general neurology. His research interests span the intersection of cognition and neuroimaging with focus on cerebrovascular risk factors and dementia biomarkers. He is participating in the Research Track, exploring cognition in aging populations with Alzheimer’s Disease receiving amyloid therapies with clinical assessments, novel blood biomarkers, and neuroimaging. He plans to pursue a fellowship in vascular neurology to start his clinical career in acute stroke management, quantitative neuroimaging and neurosonology, and primary prevention of stroke and mild cognitive impairment. Outside of residency, his interests include long distance running, live music, and going to the movies.
