Currently, physicians from the Division of Comprehensive Neurology see patients at Oakland, Wexford and South Hills locations. The goal of the Department is to expand services to other communities surrounding Pittsburgh to enhance access to the care provided by the neurologists in the UPP practice.
The Comprehensive Neurology Division is integral to the training of both medical students and neurology residents. All division physicians work closely with medical students as they rotate through neurology for clinical neuroscience courses. The division utilizes an out-patient setting as he provides instruction in general neurology for residents. The out-patient clinics prepare residents for clinical practice at the completion of their training.
The division continues to pursue affiliation with the General Neurology Committee of the American Academy of Neurology.
