Pittsburgh, PA, August 23, 2023 – Leana Doherty, MD – assistant professor of neurology – has been announced as a winner of UPMC’s Excellence in Patient Experience Awards.
Dr. Doherty was rated by patients as a Top UPMC Physician by Specialty for Neurology. Out of more than 5000 UPMC physicians, Dr. Doherty was one of forty-eight recipients of this award across all of UPMC’s specialties. One of the many comments Dr. Doherty received is: “Absolutely adore Dr. Doherty. She is very caring and compassionate. Extremely knowledgeable”.
Dr. Doherty will be recognized for this achievement at the 2022 Dr. Loren Roth Quality and Patient Safety Awards Celebration that will be held virtually on October 18.
