Pittsburgh, PA, December 21, 2022 – Jeremy N. Rich, MD, MHS, MBA, department professor and deputy director of research at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, is one of twenty-five researchers from the University of Pittsburgh to appear on Clarivate’s annual listing of Highly Cited Researchers. These researchers have demonstrated broad and significant influence that is reflected in the publication of multiple highly cited papers over the last decade.
Clarivate’s list includes over 7,000 researchers from more than seventy countries and regions; 4,000 are working and are cited in specific fields while 3,000 are cited across more than one field. Researchers are ranked according to bibliometric analyses performed by Clarivate’s Institute for Scientific Information – highly cited papers are defined as being part of the top 1% of citations for the field and year.
