Dr. Pope was born and raised in Pittsburgh and is proudly a yinzer. She loves this city for its people and vibrant culture. If she is not at work, you will catch her spending time with friends and family, attending concerts and some of Pittsburgh's many festivals, or enjoying the outdoors at our local parks.

Dr. Pope has devoted her time working with underserved populations. She served with the National Health Corps Pittsburgh as a patient navigator at Birmingham Free Clinic (BFC) prior to medical school and continues to volunteer at Neurology clinics held at BFC. She helped to establish a free clinic, the Care Clinic, on her medical school campus and actively participated in OUHCOM's Rural and Urban Scholars Pathway Program. She is a member of our Global Health Track and hopes to continue to help individuals overcome barriers to care throughout her career.
