Diana Mendoza Cervantes, MD

PGY-1 Resident / Intern

Biographical Sketch:

Diana Mendoza-Cervantes is a first year Neurology resident. She chose to stay in Pittsburgh for residency because of the academically enriching environment and nurturing community she got to work with as a medical student. Prior to medical school, she studied philosophy and neurobiology, worked at the NCI Center for Global Health and earned a Master of Bioethics, focusing on epistemic injustice across healthcare systems. In residency she is interested in exploring the role of the adult neurologist in treating adult patients with intellectual and developmental disorders as well as cognitive neurology, epilepsy, and neuroimmunology. When not working, she enjoys cooking, climbing, and taking her dog Niko to the many parks in Pittsburgh.
