Biographical Sketch

Dr. Nacopoulos’ clinical interests focus on the diagnosis and treatment of movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, tremor conditions, dystonia, ataxia, Huntington’s disease, and other conditions of abnormal movement. With his specialty training, he can evaluate patients for consideration of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) therapy, working in close association with neurosurgery to offer this treatment to patients with Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia conditions. In addition, he offers patients therapeutic treatments with botulinum toxin injections, targeting conditions including focal dystonia, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, spasticity, sialorrhea, and chronic migraine.
