Elissa K. Ortolani, MD

Biographical Sketch

Dr. Ortolani is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Child Neurology. She is a board-certified vascular neurologist and specializes in the comprehensive care of stroke patients, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.  Her clinical and research focus is in childhood stroke and stroke in young adults; for which she lectures locally and nationally on this topic.  Dr. Ortolani spends her clinical time caring for both pediatric stroke patients and adult patients.  She is actively involved in student, resident, and fellow education.
