Jackson Mitzner, MD

Biographical Sketch

Dr. Mitzner studied religious studies and neuroscience the University of Pittsburgh before staying and completing medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is interested in the intersection between humanism and neurology. He also did work in medical school analyzing burnout in medical student populations and is interested in medical education and fostering strong learning environments. Outside of neurology, Dr. Mitzner enjoys being outdoors and has previously spent a month hiking on the Appalachian Trail before starting medical school; he also enjoys playing board games.
