Biographical Sketch

Dr. Waters’ clinical and research interests focus on the care of women with neurologic illness in the setting of childbearing years, menopause, and gynecologic and breast cancer. She has clinical expertise in the management of headaches, epilepsy, myasthenia gravis, Chiari malformation and increased intracranial hypertension in pregnancy. She has special interests in preeclampsia/eclampsia, obstetrical nerve injuries and complications of neuraxial anesthesia. Her division was the first in the U.S to provide electives and fellowship training in Women’s Neurology.
