Biographical Sketch

Dr. Tewari grew up and earned her medical degree in India before coming to the United States. Upon arrival, she completed an internship at Allegheny General Hospital in 2009, then completed a residency in neurology at UPMC in 2013; she also completed a clinical neurophysiology fellowship on the EEG track in 2013. Since then, she has lived and worked in the United States and India while continuing to travel regularly. She is inspired by Ayurveda and the philosophy of Monism, which she integrates into her work and lifestyle. Dr. Tewari is fascinated by the permaculture movement and has volunteered on farms since December of 2021 to learn more.
