Biographical Sketch
Dr. Weiss is a neurology resident currently interested in stroke or neuro critical care. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh and is excited to be back home for residency. Before medical school, she spent a year as a clinical research coordinator studying spinal cord stimulation for chronic pain conditions and an additional two years as a Research Fellow studying Alzheimer’s Disease here at UPMC Center for Neuroscience. She also spent time working as a Nurse Aide in a memory support unit of a local assisted living facility. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys exploring Pittsburgh restaurants and coffee shops, charcoal drawing, and taking walks around Oakland/Shadyside.
