Biographical Sketch
Dr. Lucas Rios Rocha is a research-focused Medical Doctor currently a Clinical Research Fellow at the UPMC Stroke Institute, where he leads biobanking initiatives and contributes to studies on vascular effects in stroke patients. His work includes developing research protocols, managing biospecimen processing, and transcranial Doppler assessments, and enrollment in stroke trials. Dr. Rios Rocha previously completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, contributing to NIH-funded cohort studies. His experience spans clinical research, protocol development, and statistical analysis.
