Assistant Professor of Hematology and Neuro-Oncology

Biographical Sketch

Dr. Mantica joined UPMC Neuro-oncology in the Division of Hematology/Oncology in 2018. She completed Neuro-oncology Fellowship at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC. Prior to her training, Dr. Mantica completed a four-year Neurology residency at UPMC serving as Chief Resident. Dr. Mantica is board certified in Neurology.

Dr. Mantica is an assistant professor of Neurology and Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology. She specializes in the treatment of adult high grade gliomas, central nervous system lymphoma, and neurological complications of cancer treatment. Her translational research interests include women’s neuro-oncology, metastatic brain disease and high grade gliomas.

Dr. Mantica is a member of the Society of Neuro-Oncology, the American Academy of Neurology, the Gold Humanism Honor Society, the AOA Honor Society, and the American Medical Association.
