Biographical Sketch
Moustafa Khalifa is a fourth-year neurology resident who grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. He completed his bachelor's at the University of Pittsburgh. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he attended St. George's University School of Medicine for his medical degree. He is originally from Aleppo, Syria. His neurology interests are in stroke and neuro-endovascular/interventional neurology. After residency, Moustafa will be joining UPMC to complete a fellowship in Vascular Neurology. Upon completion of his Vascular Neurology fellowship, he will be heading UT San Antonio to complete a fellowship in Neuro-Endovascular Surgery. He decided to come to UPMC due to the vast pathology that comes through the doors, the people (faculty and co-residents), and Pittsburgh being home. His interests outside of work include hanging out with his wife, family, friends, cooking, and watching his home team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
