Biographical Sketch
Pratiti is from West Bengal, India, but has grown up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She went to Miami University for undergrad and majored in Biochemistry and Neuroscience. After graduating in 2019, she went to University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences for medical school. She plans to pursue a career in vascular neurology. Her passion lies in global health as having the opportunity to work in a different community and culture is not only helping a community, but also an enriching experience immersing herself in another culture. As a resident in the global health track, she has been ecstatic for the opportunity to work in Malawi every year. She is also interested in medical education and enjoys working with other medical students to teach them more about neurology! Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, trying new recipes, and exploring Pittsburgh with her friends!
