Shruti Iyer

PGY-2 Resident

Shruti Iyer is a PGY-2 Neurology Resident at UPMC Neurology. She is interested in pursuing a fellowship in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology. She graduated from Sri Ramachandra University of Higher Education and Research in 2022 as the Best Outgoing Student of the class. She has a keen interest in Medical Education and is currently enrolled in ICRE Medical Education Certificate Course at the University of Pittsburgh. She chose UPMC for my Neurology Residency because of the great exposure to different sub-specialties, excellent clinical education, and the collegial environment. Outside of work, she loves exploring new restaurants in Pittsburgh, swimming, traveling, and writing poetry.
