Tewari Completes AIHM Fellowship

Pittsburgh, PA, October 24, 2023Jigyasa Tewari, MD, FAIHM, clinical assistant professor in the University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurology, has completed a two-year fellowship for working professionals through The Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine (AIHM).

The AIHM Fellowship Program is a robust, 1000-hour training program that takes two years to finish. Fellows complete approximately 750 hours of online courses, 140 hours of in-person residential retreats and clinical immersion, and the rest in self-study modules. The courses are taught by experts in the field of integrative medicine. The interprofessional nature of the program allows medical, osteopathic, and naturopathic doctors to take courses with dentists, pharmacists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychologists, etc. The interprofessional class design adds a richness to the learning experience and cultivates collaboration across disciplines.

AIHM is a global interprofessional organization that aims to advance healthcare by empowering and educating health professionals in the practices and principals that support whole health.
