As one of the newest divisions in the department, the goal of the neurohospitalist division is to provide outstanding inpatient neurologic patient care, enhance medical student and resident learning, and work within the UPMC system on setting up initiatives that optimize the quality and safety of patient care.
During non-clinical weeks, division members pursue varied interests such as precepting resident continuity clinic, interpreting EEGs/EMGs and seeing patients in the neurology urgent clinic.
